I really do appreciate you guys and this forum for being as welcoming, nice and helpful as y'all are. I posted the same 2 pics above on r/GolfGTI and am getting endlessly cooked for my euro plate and stickers. I've been going thru a real rough patch in my life and the only time I've not felt like dogshit is when I finally got to put plates on my car and wash it. Even if you don't like the stickers or my plate you guys just move on and don't feel the need to be rude to another person.

I feel like the reddit car community is like a subdivision of Cartok haha, can't expect to post anything without it getting shat on even when it's not warranted haha. Your car is pretty clean, keep on enjoying it!

Also I 100% get the excitement about putting the "right" stickers on; I was way more excited than I should've been putting my "Patagof*ckyourself" sticker on mine lol, sometimes it's the little things

I stopped using reddit after I realized it's nothing but sour people giving bad advice.

And I get maybe my stickers aren't everyone's taste but I like my little car club and get to nerd out on the designs. It really is the little things that make you happy.

ngl I loved that one

and overall people here have been pretty welcoming, reiterating fuck reddit/social media nerds looking for clout with econobox builds, we're all just doing shit that makes us happy and want to share it with people who are gonna get it as well.

rolled over 40k this morning on the way to work, learned that we're being granted UNLIMITED OT to get a bit project done, and it sounds like we might be able to WFH for said OT. Car budget might've just ballooned like nobody's business.
