Washed, put on the front plate, and registered. Gonna tear apart my garage and look for my plate later today

Old joke from my dad’s car club when I was little. I’ve used it as my username since I was 12.
Saturday I got the CS wing painted and let it dry over night. I checked it yesterday morning and the wing part has inconsistent texture in the finish on the trailing edge. The vertical pieces came out good and are ready for clear. Going to try a round of wet sanding and see how that plays out.

Did you have the basic or Fender system before? Based upon that wiring diagram, I'm guessing you went with a Ali express Dynaudio system? And I'm afraid to ask how you got the C fuse panel down like that. Very interested to see how it ends up.

Finished up the paint correction late on Saturday to late for pictures, so I took some yesterday. It came out looking fantastic!

I don't know shit about alignments, but looking at this, I would assume that the alignment was fine before. Did I waste my money getting a new alignment?

TR paint issues are no longer on the MK7. Mine's 9 years old this month, still perfect.

Coming from a TR MKV that had the roof clearcoat fail and need a respray even with regular wash/wax/etc., my MK7 (May 2015 build) seems to be dramatically better with less care being taken (washed and waxed maybe twice a year) haha.

The TR clear coat is fine, but the black trim around the sunroof is failing. I think I will just wrap it in black vinyl, along with the rest of the roof and spoiler.
