Yeah it was an eventful day for sure with quite a few spins and the oiling of the track. The OnGrid events have a big turnout so more opportunity for shenanigans.

Not sure how much the Subie could see around the corner, but it was sketch and got my blood pumping.

My PCV system has no issues but I haven't pushed the car hard on track, yet. Did not realize the mk8 variant was an option. Not sure what one I have but my car is a 2018 and I believe there were updates from the initial issues they had.

@DOOD scary when you're out there with inexperienced rwd cars. Also, what the hell was the WRX looking at! That was close!

@UtahMK7.5 get some BFI engine mounts and it really spices things up. That and the lower euro engine cover.
I have a set of the 034 motorsports density line mounts installed and their dog bone currently. I really enjoy them as it tightened everything up and doesn't rattle my teeth out. I had wild ones on my Evo ix and it was brutal as a daily. So I went a little lighter since I'll likely keep it how it is now with maybe the addition of mpi to squeeze everything out of the Vortex turbo.

I have stage 1 BFI mounts and dogbone and not much nvh but I’m 6MT. I’ve been in a dsg with BFI stage 1 and there was quite a bit of nvh.

I want the BFI mounts for almost no other reason than they look fantastic... but TDI 🤔.

One of you diesel drivers with no regard for comfort needs to be the first to run them, or at least the first to report back.

Yeah I'm DSG so I was very particular about the nvh rating and what other had to say. They feel great to be honest! I was so close to doing the bfi mounts though as they are also really high quality.

Stage 2 on the other hand will rattle the teeth out of your mouth. Don't get me wrong, I would still buy them. But the nvh is really bad.

Replaced rear spring isolators as part of troubleshooting for an annoying hum. At 79k mi, the old isolators were intact, but indented almost all the way through, and rock hard. I expect the fresh rubber pieces will reduce a little bit of road noise.

DQ250 here. BFI stage 1 engine, trans and insert with roc-euro arm. It’s not bad at all. The first few hundred miles were wild. 2k+ on the setup now and it’s only obvious with the air on. If I have my sunglasses in the holder you can hear the shift in vibration when the AC goes on/off.

Seeing how squishy the stock mounts were 28k in was hilarious.
