More plastic stuff on the plug in:

Got the maxton side splitter/skits on to go with the front and test fitted the rear diffuser valence that was made for a different trim level ev6.

*pretty good chance my “69 kWh” plate got rejected too cause it’s been crickets from the DMV

Also a reminder of this things fitment but also the punishment of leaving it aired out for a long time I guess 😂 this things got less than 250 miles on it since the alignment was dialed it with the wheel tracking dead center… now this is what it looks like to keep it going straight 😂 deff. Something funky happening to the bushing or the balljoints (they are o34 so won’t be surprising)

What year and how many miles are on it?

Looks sharp though
It’s a 2021 with 35k (original owner leased it, spent its time in Florida).

I paid extra to extend the Volvo warranty, which bumped the price a bit, but I’m hoping we keep it a good while & I’ve got no desire to work on it lol.

I’ve got a few little “mods” planned, but purely interior & exterior functionality stuff (nothing performance related).

This has the 2.0L with all the forced induction, right? Turbo and supercharger? I've heard the early ones had some issues, but since this is a later model yr, hopefully they worked that stuff out. That's what the long warranty is for, right? Congrats!

If you don't fab up a full turboback for it, though, I'll be disappointed. (and an open intake. What other car can you hear both supercharger whine and turbo woosh??) 😂😂

Ok intake maybe lol, I won’t say it hasn’t crossed my mind. I think it’s safe to say the wife would shoot that idea down immediately though.

2016-17 had some issues, but they’re solid after that. The thing that scared me into all the warranty was the big ass iPad that controls EVERYTHING. Supposedly it’s $8,500 installed if that fucker dies, so while I’m confident in the car itself the tech does have me unsure of its long term reliability.

Bets anyone?

Psshhh, (me in the shop when she’s not looking).

Yeap... I tried to get my avatar name (fav band - Iron Maiden / year I was born - 1969) and was denied because of the 69...

Y'all are lucky it's even an option. Been over 3 years since the RI DMV closed down vanity plate applications thanks to one Karen, with zero news on when they'll open it back up again...

This scares me with a lot of new cars. My MIL has a Tesla Model X and the screen has already died twice and bricked the car both times, luckily under warranty.

This sounds like a story

also made a deal on selling my OEM wheels, which hopefully will help fund my Baun downpipe and resonator, once I get measurements over to Mr. Jake for the resonator. Heading out early tomorrow AM to take my buddy to pick up his mk8, a 40AE that I'm naming Pomelo Anderson.

The claimed “everything” in that xc90s interface though is night and day different in what it actually controls than the ONLY device/control in a S,X,Y,3 though. Plus for whatever reason with Tesla’s it always seems there top models the S and X seem to give owners all the issues and “shop” visits 🤷🏼‍♂️. But with plaid msrp going from 130k is 22 to 89k in 23, is rather telling of what that 130k was actually getting you before.

I don't think the lesser models are much better. Two of my coworkers have model 3s and they've both had motor replacements and one had a battery replacement in the first 25k miles or so. My MILs X also needed a new motor under warranty.
