They say it’s somewhere in SC

I’m keeping an eye out lol
I've only seen some headlines, but... I have a ton of questions on WTH happen. Because it doesn't make sense at all that we can trace where a plane crashes in Afghanistan, but this thing with the best technology and probably a nuke proof black box can't be found.

I think I read that the pilot punched out due an issue, but the plane kept flying due to being on "autopilot" or "zombie mode"? Something isn't adding up.....all for the low price of $75M

I don’t have any inside info, but it seems very unlikely they could lose track of any military aircraft.

$75M seems low, but then again there’s a lot of sub million dollar F35 posts on FB marketplace locally right now lol

I mean they lost a couple trillion dollars. What's an F350?

Nothing fun, I'll tell you that. Front emblem replacement for areaview retrofit.

And what can only be described as an hour of patience and insanity mixed with stubbornness... Decided I would try to use the tabs on that new emblem which means a lot of dremel work.

All the holes are too large but best to start inboard and work your way out to the edges. You can always take off more material but you can't add it. I'd say 95% of what I need to remove has been removed.

I'll be able to retain the three original clips that hold the grill pieces together. And the new emblem still won't sit completely flush. That would pretty much require removing all of the plastic backing for the original emblem. It's looking like I'm going to have a gap of somewhere under 1/8 of an inch all the way around. The picture shows more gap than will exist at the end. I still have some more clearancing to do.

I'll tape it off and do some black plastic weld or epoxy to fill the gap. In my mind I'll justify that as keeping water away from the camera even though water doesn't really get in there. And even though I'm using the clips plastic weld makes one feel good about the security of anything you're trying to hold together.

Blah blah blah, pictures...

the stuff on #2 looks like just dried grease. I think mine had a little bit on each one when I changed them.
Finally put in the new spark plugs I bought in 2020 and changed my oil. FYI - a piece of pex thats pinched on the end is perfect for retrieving and starting the threads on the spark plugs without having to worry about cross threading cuz the plug will slip in the PEX. How do the plugs look after 80k miles? Car seems to be running more smoothly now. Also my #2 plug has some weird deterioration on the top part that I've never seen before
