Yeah I looked into renting one of these as I would prob never use it again, but advanced autoparts didn't even know what a engine support bar was lol.
Use a block of wood before your ramps. Worked for me last weekend
Yeah I thought about this while in somewhat panic, but didn't use the wood I had laying around. I ending up putting my ramps under the back tires so if the front stand failed it wouldn't ruin the rockers too bad. Ending up jacking the bit after the pinch weld (even tho theres like no room, then slide the jack stand out and lowered to the rear ramps) then I said heck it last night.
I have the Megan Racing low profile two piece ramps. Drive up on them. Set the parking brake. Jack the front under the dogbone. Remove the ramp tailpieces and put jack stands under the pinch weld jack points. I jack the rear to level using my trailer hitch, but there's probably another option in the back as well.

Once the car is level and on the stands, lower the engine/transmission using a jack under the "bellhousing" to fit the mounts.
This is prob my best solution, or the engine support bar. I would most likely use the ramps more often as the rhino ramps arn't low enough anymore. Maybe i'll just grab the support bar so i dont have to take my street shield off and could work all from the top. Ah

All this wouldnt be an issue is the local shops didn't want 600$ for the engine mount/ trans insert lol. To be continued.

Made both the white Start/Stop and amber Mode button lights red.

The Start/Stop is just transparent red vinyl on the underside of the button. Very easy, took maybe 5 minutes.

The Mode button is a complete LED replacement. I took the buttons out and unclipped the bottom to get to the circuit board and the LED. I then found a suitable replacement (Wurth Elektronik 150141RS63140) and brought it to a computer repair store for soldering since I can't work on anything that small.

Fuel for USD9.05/gallon. Doesn't sound so horrible if it's only 2.159Euro/Liter...

Cheers to a end of the day victory beer!

It’s runs and it’s out of here for now. Still two weeks till the tuning appointment so it’s gonna sit at his shop till then.

50 days & about $15,000 later. We’ve got more stuff on the to do list once it get back from the tuner, but that’ll be a lot easier just driving it in next time.

Another project is already in the shop and Mk7 stuff coming next week as well.
