Installed DieselGeek Sigma 6 short shifter and DAP metal shifter cable bracket and TorqueSolution shifter bracket bushings.

Now crisp, short and no play. Very pleased with the difference.

Connects to the Torque Pro app on my phone, where I can get a bunch of data on the car and check fault codes and whatnot.

Do you happen to have a link to which specific one you bought? I've gone through 2 now and neither of them work. Getting to the point where I should have just bought the more expensive Bosch dongle.

Nice! I fretted over the DieselGeek shifter before I bought the APR SS and bracket.
I didn't even know DAP was selling that oem metal bracket. :banghead
Helluva lot less expensive.

Even though it still uses some rubber bushings it has to flex a lot less than the stock plastic piece.

yeah, saw a post by someone here and bought much less expensive OEM bracket vs from APR. also put in TS bushings to replace the rubber ones

get the diesel geek, I think it's so much better now. fits the fast 1-3 gears for my manual.

Was this a retrofit or did your car come with them? I'm probably going to retro fit with deAutokey LEDs in the next few months.
These are the deautokey LED footwell lights. Just plug n play bulbs. Still waiting for night so I can get the full effect!

My brother being the real MVP!
Car came with a drilled front bumper for the LP unfortunately, and didn't want to go the hole plug route. Still need to get some actual VW Pure White touchup paint, resand a little, apply correct paint, and then polish. Looks a million times better already though.

That had to be the worst front plate bracket mount job I've seen. Based on the pattern of those holes I can't imaging it was even level. Yikes. Looks way better now!

It was absolutely abysmal. Not only were they not even, the dumbass people at the dealer drilled straight into the crease of the bumper.

And thanks! Still got some work to go, but I'm pleased so far.
