Went to go check mine. I’m good. Holy crap
Yeah. You'd notice pretty quickly with white. It's the dark colors it kinda blends in on.

What’s up with the fender lining being pinched out like that?Nah, he doesn't have a lift, and don't think he would have had to jack it up much. I scoured my old images when I noticed it, and it's hard to see, but you can definitely tell it's always been there.
This was shortly after I got the car, before I had even jacked it up myself for the first time:

Looks fine due to the dark color hiding the shadow, but if you zoom in and brighten the fuck out of the image, you can definitely tell it's there. Just isn't very noticeable on dark colored cars.

see! I'm not crazy.......I thought the dealership jacked it up but looks like there is a bigger issue.
waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too late for me on this issue.....but great info for a new owner!Noticed a slight deformation on my passenger front rocker panel parallel to the pinch weld... will be needing to jack her up soon and I am not wanting to make anything worse than it currently is so I started looking into it.

A few owners are stating in the above thread that the dealership is to blame. Some have even taken delivery and noticed the damage on day one. Based off of the first post of the thread it seems that at one point our cars were lifted from the pinch welds and either an arm or bar of the actual lift or jack came into contact with the rocker panel deforming/bending it.
Havent done an exhaustive search, but this seems reasonable, a warning for anyone getting work done, take pictures of your rocker panels before letting someone else lift your car.
I am thinking about investing in the jack pad kit to be safe, no longer comfortable using the pinch welds for heavy lifting, in case there is something more to it than the theory above.
ya didn't make sense that it would come that way from the factory but the dealer on the other hand...Noticed a slight deformation on my passenger front rocker panel parallel to the pinch weld... will be needing to jack her up soon and I am not wanting to make anything worse than it currently is so I started looking into it.

See I told you that you are right sometimes.I’m an asshole. Sorry. You right
Fuckin toughGot the new tires on… they are def. more square and possibly wider that the ps4s in the same size cause I cannot air the car down full with these. Only temp since the new fenders should be done this week. Sits wide at ride height with them though
