Damn dude that nuclear device looks great!

it’s very well done.

Seriously. That looks like some hezbollah shit.
It looks like a home made rocket?

HAHA!

Hugged the steering wheel while driving a 65" tv back from Costco, in my Golf. Had about $300 in cash back to spend and none of our cars need tires this year so... figured I'd buy the biggest tv they had that would fit in the car. Just so happens the best non-OLED TV they have is the only 65" with a box that fits, ~64" long, and 40" tall (wide) which is the width of the hatch.

It's a VA panel so good contrast and should be comfortable to watch in the dark, if not the best with brightness. It'll go in the bedroom and our 5 year old 46" will move to the guest room.

In preparation of my 2nd attempt to install my Macan calipers today, I put on some 5mm spacers up front to see how far my wheels would poke out. While comparing the wheels, I realized how awful my alignment is. The toe out is horrible. My wheels straight up look like this \ /. I have no goddamn clue how I haven't noticed that before or felt it while driving.

My own damn fault, I put on spring a year ago, got an alignment, and it was pretty good both before and after. A couple months later I installed shocks, and don't go back for a second alignment, since it felt fine.

Will be calling tomorrow morning to make an appointment for an alignment.

Why not an oled? Ours is wonderful.

FYI- I was using Amazon FireTV with my OLED, then recently switched to a Roku Ultra and the colors look 100x better. Can't believe the difference, I thought I needed a new TV before

Not worth the money for our use. Even this wasn't worth the money for our use honestly, just had the Costco cash back that was expiring. The bedroom TV gets less than 5 hours of use a week, going days at a time without being turned on at all.

I'm useless without my glasses but I don't like wearing them, haha. If we're watching anything worth watching (or playing videogames) it's in the living room, 135" of 4k HDR goodness...

Yes I know, soundbar, but that was the compromise required by others in the home, haha. It's the Nakamichi blah blah though, dual 10" subs (wireless connection to the sound bar) and 4 rear speakers, zero complaints from me...

That's a nice soundbar. Any soundbar is going to look small in front of that TV.

Fortunately everyone was on board with black walls in the living room, haha. It's a silver ticket high contrast gray screen, Epson Home Cinema 5040 mounted on the wall in the very back of the room. We use it daily as our TV, the bulb will be 3 years old in a couple months. I don't know the hours off hand but it just started giving us a notice that we should have a replacement bulb ready. We can black out the living room even in the daytime though so most of our viewing is in Eco-mode which helps... unless sports, haha.

We have a spare bulb and they are only $125 which I'm happy to part with every 3-4 years. Bulbs for the first projector we had were almost $400 each (for authentic ones) and our room wasn't light controlled so the projector was in full bright most of the time... that got expensive.
