GotchaNope, they just won't order the part until they've verified that's the issue. Even though the lady at the parts counter made it sound like they were going to get the part ordered 2 weeks ago so it'd be here for today.

He asked me if I wanted one. I took an uber and grabbed the spare corvette we have. lolDid they at least give you a rental car? The dealer I went to was an absolute ass about giving me a loaner.
2 secondsSigned it up for Daytona track day. Last time I was there, was completely stock on the stock AS tires. Taking bets on how many seconds I knock off.
I bet he adds two seconds - he's older and his reflexes are shot - still on stuck clutch; it starts to slip - he thinks of me.2 seconds
He’ll start in reverse LOLI bet he adds two seconds - he's older and his reflexes are shot - still on stuck clutch; it starts to slip - he thinks of me.

Oh. Don’t know your mods before and after. My badRough crowd.
I was on the speed limiter for the whole front straight every lap and on AS, so I'm guessing with 255 RE71R's, no limiter, and a stg 1 tune, 10 or more.

What speed do you think you can hit on that straight?Rough crowd.

I was bouncing off the limiter at 125 mph at the exit of Nascar 4, so not sure, maybe another 10 mph before braking for T1 going from speed limited stock tune to stg 1 91. My buddy's ZL1 was hitting mid 150's mph for reference. What speed do you think you can hit on that straight?
Wish you the best man, stay safe.I was bouncing off the limiter at 125 mph at the exit of Nascar 4, so not sure, maybe another 10 mph before braking for T1 going from speed limited stock tune to stg 1 91. My buddy's ZL1 was hitting mid 150's mph for reference.
I'm going to move to the 2.52 version of EQT's 91 stg 1 tune, because it's supposedly helps with oil and coolant temps. I also run 93 oct in the car, hoping to minimize detonation. Engine is stock otherwise.
If temps get ugly or I get any clutch slip, I'll load the Cobb stg 0, which is like a stock tune minus the speed limiter. Last time I was their in August, got lucky and it was pretty cool and overcast, so no really data points to be gained from that event.
As long as it doesn't rain, I'm cool. Last session last time it started to rain and car hydroplaned exiting Nascar 4. Came an inch or 2 from totaling a brand new car and I didn't get track insurance. I cut the session short and went home, but bucket list achieved, driving under the lights, at night, in the rain at Daytona.Wish you the best man, stay safe.
