My advice is keep the GTI, get the ZL1 as a second car. They're a bargain for the performance. You have the garage space for it...

Absolutely, I never plan to sell the gti as it’ll eventually become more of a track toy (I can’t afford to crash a ZL1 lol).

If I do get something like that it would be used for sure. I live comfortably, but not spend 70k on a car at 29 years old comfortable haha

Pretty expensive for some plastic. Ask a dealer if it's available separately. Try a junkyard.

yeah will do nothing on eBay for the 18 or 19 cars

Excuse the dirty tires lol. Finally put my new wheels and tires on. The wheels are still curing technically but I took it out for a small spin before it rains. Feels good and they didn’t fall off, so that’s good. I have low standards.. I’ll post another picture when the tires are a little cleaner and I’m parked in a nicer spot lol

Spliced a baby resonator into the stock catback to make it less raspy and maybe a bit quieter. Getting it welded before install, obviously.
For those with the 60mm tailpipe, 2.5" pipe fits very well over it, in case anyone is wondering.

And for those contemplating a stock resonator delete, don't bother.
This is the inside. No restriction and only a handful of perforations to deaden sound.
It is not going to make much of a difference, on or off your car.
