Nice! Curious to know if there is a thread with all the Gloss Black trim P/N's? Also is it a complete trim swap from the shifter all the way across the dash, glove box trim, and door cards too?

Yes, thread is here. I listed the parts but there is also a comprehensive Google Doc posted by KyACRASH that is more comprehensive (couldn't recall who had shared it when I was researching). I've done everything in the picture + driver side vent, passenger side vent, and headlight switch surround. I tried to save a little money and ordered the shifter surround from AliExpress but it won't work (incorrect tabs in some places, "corrected" with a dremel, but would also require "correction" of some of my car's original trim pieces which I'm not willing to do). So I ordered the shifter surround piece from VW, waiting for delivery this weekend.

I did not do the piece above the glove box or the door cards, the brushed silver "belt line" actually looks pretty good with the gloss black trim, imho.

Looks like a rev9

I can’t say that I’ve actually seen a rev9 exhaust in person but I would be surprised if the welds looked like this. The exhaust is all v-band and manufactured in house. I just got a tour of the whole manufacturing process. These guys are really big in the Subaru scene. They are actually giving me the exhaust for free. They’re going to use my car for media and promotional stuff.

Yeah, way better welds and free is a huge bonus!

Not today but earlier this week. Found a flat tire with a giant screw in it. While trying to get a better picture I also noticed that the tire was very close to the fender liner. Rear on the passenger side but I think there is additional stuff for the fuel filler since it’s not as tight on the drivers side rear. When they took the tire off I saw some rubbing marks on the fender liner but nothing crazy. I’m running 235/40/18 PS4S at stock height with DCC but I see some other run much wider tires. Does everyone rub like this?

Yep, known issue with the GTI's. Some have it worse than others, what offset is your wheel? I run 17x9 ET 45 and noticed a bit of liner wear from my 245/40R17's and now I can audibly hear my new 245/45R17's rubbing against something.

My wheels are 18x85 with +45 offset. Tires are 235/40. I was surprised because I don't think I've ever heard any rubbing, I guess its not too bad as the marks look very light.

That looks like the exact same resonator and mufflers they used on my Subaru exhaust. I hope you get less drone that I did, I had to take their stuff off after a while.

Those wheels are so silver, they're almost white. Or they are white and I need glasses.

Silver and the sun was setting on that side of the car. I have gun metal w/hint of bronze Weds TC105x wheels ready to mount on the car
