Not today but recently, (actually about 6 weeks ago) I picked up a CPO '15 GTI. It's an Autobahn package with a DSG. This is my first non Japanese car, and Im enjoying the creature comforts and refinement that my FRS doesn't offer.
Sounds expensive... OEM quality though? Looks nice. My one gripe about the factory GTI steering wheel in my '19 is the lack of perforated leather at 10 & 2.
A few days ago, I did the obdeleven LSD increase traction adaptation. It's awesome! Steering feels a bit heavier, understeer feels reduced, and it's noticeable even at slower speeds. Wish I would have discovered this two years ago when I bought the car.

Those two tweaks make a big difference. Throttle response I couldn’t really tell TBH but the starting vibration reduction - man oh man. That tweak should be done before auto journalists review these cars. I bet it reduces 0-60.
Had a FMIC by Mabotech installed (massive!!), works with my current Unitronic IC. Temps are barely above ambient even w/ a/c on at cruising speeds and same as ambient at highway speeds. I also de-catted my CTS Turbo DP, last but not least I finally installed the dogbone. I already have 034 Motorsports tranny and engine Density line mounts, this was the last piece and tightened things up.
I finished the frame for my rear seat delete project:
Now that my daughter is out of the house and I'm looking to take the car camping, I don't need the back seat so much these days. Rather than a simple panel, I'm going to make doors that open to reveal a storage area that looks like it will hold about three cubic feet... perhaps tools, first aid stuff, a blanket, rain gear, or something else. We'll see. I've designed the project to be quickly removable without tools so I can restore the rear seat when needed. I'm expecting my piano hinges tomorrow and should be able to glue-in the carpet by Friday.
I'm working fast to get it done before my day of hauling water and ice in support of a large bicycling event. BugOut is Sunday. I didn't think I'd be ready to show, but I may still drive up.
It's already on hand. I wanted to get the frame done first, especially with my busy weekend coming. I also have some jute and will deaden the hatch and wheel wells.
I’m not sure what others are getting and I’m sure there’s a thread for this but my car has 42k miles and dialed in 299 miles from fill up for the first time ever now that I’m commuting roughly 20-30 miles for work and 90% of it is on the highway.
I still had 10-5miles remaining but was stuck behind bumper to bumper traffic.
Depends on the the options and if you choose to send them your own steering wheel or you pay the $250 deposit and you can send them your old steering wheel back once you get the new one and get the $250 back. I got it for under 1k and also got a little discount because I had to wait much longer than expected.
