I realized that everyone called it a gti no matter what logos were affixed, so I put R logos back on. [emoji1787] I paid too much for it to be called a GTi.

I get the same treatment. Except everyone keeps referring to my TSI as a GTI. Lol.

Also recently picked up this covercraft sunshade for the summer months and it’s really nice compared to cheaper universal ones. Fills the windshield and fits nicely between passenger seat and door.

I bought a Covercraft sunshade too last year and I really like it. I park outside at work in the hot sun so definitely a great investment for the summer time.

Got Bilstein B8's and European Eibach Linear springs (essentially a Bilstein B12 kit) installed today. Gotta throw my 10mm spacers on the rear once I get an alignment in a couple days.

How’s the ride / handling?

Thanks guys. The ride is excellent, pretty much feels like stock with no harshness of jarring. Handling wise the car feels more planted and not as "floaty". I still have a rear sway to install but wanted to do the springs/shocks first so I could get a good feel for them.

Installed a JB4, going to spend some time on Map 1 until I get used to how much faster it gathers speed on the freeway.
