Add-a-fuse tapped the fuse box to hardwire a BlackVue power magic pro for the DR750s 2channel dash cam. It’s been running well, so I think I did it right.

I actually made sure of this. I read the manual and it said nominal 5amp, and I talked to my mechanic and he said it is fine, it doesn't matter.

I then found 2 other fuse slots that are labeled nominal 5amp in the manual, but there were already 10amps in my fusebox for those slots. so i suppose it doesn't matter.

I followed the plug spots that Garrett posted on this Thread and the auto instruct guide: https://www.golfmk7.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14020
and LastHumans youtube video - Last 2 minutes he explains that he uses two 10amp fuses on the fuse taps. I think the fuse taps must have the wires face up too, but im not a electrician or a mechanic.

Got Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ rubber installed today. The stock Bridgestones were no bueno. I plan to run these on stock rims for a while until I give in and get a dedicated set of summer tires/rims.

I hope so. Previously had Conti DWS06s on my Si. But I’ve read so many good things about the Michelins, I figured I’d go for it. Now I have my old Bridgestones with only 695 miles on them up on Craigslist. Figure if they sell that will significantly offset the cost of these.

Nice - can you do a bit of a review of them. I live in DC too, Have been waiting to push the button on some pilot sports but the AS may be more sensible...
