BFI stage 2 mounts, oh yeah

Notice any difference? I have their stage 2 dog bone insert and was thinking about doing the whole set soon.

Put in MBRP 2.5" resonator (currently running Invidia catless DP stock exhaust). TBH I never really noticed the drone, was never really that bad. Now there is no drone. A little louder at WOT.
I'd recommend getting the Vibrant like everyone else. Nothing wrong with it, but seems like the Vibrant works better (?)
Although mine is pretty far back (right before the stock muffler), I've read placement affects sound.

Oh yeah, you can definitely feel the difference. The car feels so much more planted. If you don't mind NVH I would highly recommend it. Vibrations aren't that bad imo but there is a pretty noticeable increase in mechanical noise inside the cabin. I had read about that from other guys who've done this install but I stopped caring about refinement a long time ago.

They'll chill out a bit with the NVH with a few miles on them but still help in all other ways. I've got 20k plus on mine and wouldn't have it any other way.

Thanks for the info. Definitely on my list now.

To speak to the actual topic- I spent 3 hours detailing all my wheels and brakes. They look so good now [emoji7]

(P.S. they're for sale)

OEM VW rotaries in Anthracite grey. They're 18X8's.

They look great. Shame VW wheels are heavier than a football field stacked to the ceiling with Blue Whales filled with lead bowling balls on the event horizon of a super massive black hole.

Lmao, I'd equate them to small planets, but that's pretty close.

The new ones I'm getting are actually 3 lbs heavier per though [emoji28]

1001th page in this topic! Whoaaaa

To celebrate, I want to share a nice result of hacking Golf GTE datasets:
https://youtu.be/ce_0pRYE0_o

Turn sound on. The internal noise generator is normally off during E-mode (fully electric) driving. Thanks to some dataset hacking, I can now have the fake engine noise during full electric driving.

It doesn't make the fake engine noise/soundgenerator less annoying, but it's still a nice proof of concept.
