Weird sound immediately following a rev

There is an odd noise that's sort of a click after I give a rev. Inside the car the sound is a bit different but hard to capture. Outside the car you can early hear it.

Would anyone have an idea on what that would be?

They wouldn't shut up. I yelled and it didn't help ..

The noise is like a click, about 1 second following the rev. The Rev comes down and then it clicks.

If you've done any modifications to your vehicle, that is always a good first place to check. sometimes stuff just doesn't get tightened enough.

If it were my car I would take off the downpipe and make sure that the wastegate is not damaged in any way. I would also check the turbo for shaft play... odds are its something smaller, but if the turbo is the issue its always nice to catch that early. That's just if it were my car though.

The birds were telling you that they hear a clicking sound when you rev the engine.

Mine has a click as well.

Turn Ignition on and press the pedal. When you release is it the same noise? If so it's normal and the throttle body doing its thang

Hey, I just started hearing the same sound coming from my car after I rev it. Did you find out if it was just a normal sound?
