I will be making a concerted effort to stop talking about GTI's and Golf R's on the GTI/Golf R forum.

I will NOT post pics or that I even have another R so as not to offend any of you or clog up the forum with worthless pics of another brand new Golf R....

Yup. That's why we have 2 separate threads with the exact same title, one in the R section, one in the GTI forum.

Prior to recent months, I did not spend much time in the Golf R forum as a GTI owner...... but I am sure the GTI guys appreciate your position that only you should be made aware of incentives.

They are def worth posting. I dont think you will see anything like it again, but if I am wrong, please feel free to post the last time Vdub offered 0% for 60 months on a CPO car..... I dont actually know but I am guessing not very often....

Nobody would have a problem with you posting deals on cars that you make commission on. Just get a paid sponsorship first.

As mentioned, there isn't enough traffic on this site to warrant doing something like that, and as you can see, fairly hostile group, better served paying for porn methinks.....

I am not going to post anymore incentives or any of the stores cars for sale. You guys know it all and dont need any help from me....

You mean the 5 threads I have started in the last month...…. and of those, only three were incentives.... I think I have mentioned in other threads 2-3 times that I had an R in stock or that we had some GTI's in stock.... c'mon..... that's a joke....

Whatever. Still doesn't address why you posted deals. It wasn't even realistic on your part. This is a worldwide forum. Except for members who are close enough to you to purchase a car it was a waste of time. Certainly you can understand being a paid sponsor. There's a forum member who makes great products as a side gig from his regular job and he had to stop selling his parts because the cost of a sponsorship would have negated any profit he could make.

Yes, that's it. GTI guys only use the GTI subforum and the R folks only go into the R forum. I have absolutely no idea what is being discussed in the other sections. It's too bad there isn't a place where you can go see all the new posts across the various subforums.

Do what you want, but it's generally considered poor forum etiquette to post the same topic multiple times across subforums.

Pretty sure it's not your deal posts that are rubbing people the wrong way. It's the contrarian responses about what kind of market this is. 99 out of 100 people on here know this is turning to a buyers market, you insist the exact opposite, hence the burbling hostility.

You slowly shifted from being another active and enthusiastic forum member into a full on forum car salesman. Nothing wrong with letting it be known you can help people get into a new GTI or R but just put it in your signature. You'll still get your message out and the people that don't like new posts won't see so many

This has actually turned into a great Yelp page. I mean great for the buyer, since it is a buyers market.

And if a dozen people telling you the same thing doesn't get through your ego, then maybe we are just too hostile and you should take a break from the forum. That way you can focus on hunting down people in large parking lots with high value trade-in cars and tell them about current VW offers. Just don't forget to wear a mask.
