Wax remover

Howdy, I just waxed my car, but in my haste I waxed over some tiny flecks of something on the side mirror that should really have been dealt with first before I put on the wax. Nothing too significant, and I was in a hurry. Any recommendations for a good product to take off the wax, so I can properly deal with the spots? Thanks for the help.

Dawn dish soap...no really...it works. Rubbing alcohol too.

IPA or rubbing alcohol is my first choice as well.

I use the most powerful dawn they have.

Specks is the perfect word for them. I used a clay bar as I had one handy, and got them off of the side mirror. Had to rub the heck out of it to get them. Lots of wax over them I guess. If I get them again in the future, probably best to get as much of the wax off as I can, and then clay bar if using Dawn, or IPA doesn't remove them. Thanks.
