Can you run your fingernail along that "crack" and feel it? Its very possible that's your problem

Honestly I don't know. When the other CTS turbine housing were failing, they were having similar issues but they also were much more obviously cracked. I'm not really sure how to help. You've checked for boost leaks and made sure the bolts that tighten the 2 housings together are all tight. I would hit up cts and see what they think. Isn't a boss500 supposed to spool around 4200?noticed that. it is a crack but would that be enough to bleed passed the wastegate?
Any update on this?Hi I’m having issues with spool with my BOSS 500v2. i have a 6MT VW GTI MK7 and i believe my issues are due to the wastegate. here are my voltages and i can not get the end stop basic setting to pass. it fails due to safety reasons. can anyone point me in the right direction car is slow spooling and wont hit boost till 4200rpm. thanks
Did you manage to sort error codeOK, I have 3.622Volt now and not getting the error anymore, thank you!
But now a DSG error at full throttle 3 gear before shifitng into 4th lol
