Washer fluid sensor

Does anyone else have one of these that just completely doesn't work? I even had to check the manual to make sure I had one.

I've got one, and it works. A bit too well though in my opinion. The warning light comes on with about 2 litres still left in the bottle which seems like rather a lot to me. Some specs may not have the sensor though.

I had the washer level warning thingy in my old mk7, it comes on early with plenty of fluid remaining, it will also stop the headlight washers and feed only the windshield and rear window until filled.

If you have Bi-Xenon head lights, you should have headlight washers and a fluid level warning system.

You'll also have a Washer Fluid sensor fitted if the car had the Winter pack option.

I see you have the GT. As has been said before, you will only have the Washer fluid level sensor if you have either the Bi-Xenon lights or the optional Winter Pack.
