VWR Paddle Compatibility Alltrack 7.5?

Got a set of VWR Paddles. Watched a couple YouTube videos of how to install online. After attempting to install on my ‘18 Alltrack the stock OEM paddles look different than what I’ve seen on videos. There is zero access to pull the pin out, even if I pry/flex on the paddles I can’t see the pin. I took a couple
of pictures for reference. On shopDAP/USPmotorsports and ECStuning they all confirm fitment for the Alltrack.
Any sage advice from the group? Will I need to upgrade to a GTi/R steering wheel to make these work?
Thanks!

If it’s this shape vs the circle, the paddles are different to gti/R. I gave up (was scared to pop the airbag to access the whole paddle) and ordered some aliexpress stick on ones.

Thanks all. I am thinking I’ll swap to a Golf R wheel & airbag in the future. Going to hold onto these VWR paddles for the time being. I don’t care for the Leyo and other stick on paddles. A real shame that these won’t work on Golf/Alltracks as advertised on every site that sells them.
