Vs GT350 (NO VIDEO)

Had a GT350, probably a 2013 or so in front of me at a light turning left onto an access road that has no cross streets.

I was behind him & he looked back. Gave him a thumbs up. He did the head nod.

Turned green, there was one car in front of him. I left it in 1st as shifting into 2nd would've put me at about 2k rpm.

As soon as we turn, he takes off. I do too. Actually didn't miss any shifts which is unusual.

We got up to about 100 and he was about 7 cars ahead of me.

Unfortunately had no E85 in the tank as I had just had the fuel tank replaced.

For comparison, I can normally spin RE71 or RS4 through 2nd & if it's cool part way through 3rd (that's rare though & probably depends more on road). This time had no spin even in 1st.

Pulled up next to him & gave and got the thumbs up.

Also saw the first Corolla GR today, but I was in the Scion.

Tldr : got my ass handed to me by a 2013 GT350

13 would have been a Boss possibly, not as exciting as I expected from the title. Sound boosted at all? Tuned a 13 mustang would make maybe 400 wheel.

I wasn't sure about the year, but it did have Shelby on the rear.

430 HP naturally aspirated.

525 HP supercharged.

It's just a 5.0, possibly it has the Boss intake vs the GT so more top end with a sacrifice of the low end. Probably 400 wheel max with 360 ftlb, feel like it should have been a little more evenly matched.

Just fyi & this isn't drag strip. Just torque app with GPS sensor. Trapped 110 in quarter mile. That was with my APR tune. Regular Reflect tune feels a tad slower, so maybe 107. (On E40, feels much quicker than APR)

I think stock GT is a 111mph car
