Vs Camaro SS & C8

So driving back from COTA on 130.

Catch up to an Camaro SS & C8. Freeway is clear & they line upa at around 80. I'm right behind. Hear the SS take off. C8 is surprisingly quiet. I'm in 4th & just lay onto throttle. Up to 145 I'm right on their tail. I was pretty happy with that especially me having an extra passenger.

I didn't know if the C8 was fully on it as i shouldn't judge but it was a girl driving. Because normally they're 125mph 1/4 mile cars & I'm about 115

What sucks is now i want just a little more power to be able to pass them. But that means more fueling i.e. mpi or injectors & lpfp. Don't think it's worth it right now

stock C8s seem to run 10secs even 60-130 and a stock SS is low 11s iirc (although mods quickly level the playing field between them) What does your car run now?

Pretty impressive to hang with them though in a 1.8T!

Before i went flex tune, i dynoed 300 (on a mustang) & went 11.74 60-130

Keep in mind i didn't have a dragy but tried to find the flattest road i could.

Have not tested since flex tune

With flex you'd probably run pretty darn close with a stock camaro if not pull on it. You'd likely need more turbo for the C8 though...(theres a Vortex std. in the classifieds for a nice deal 👀 )
