For anyone curious how much a hybrid turbo can gap a oem spec IS38 (JD eurosports IS38 Turbo) here's some footage:

J's Built MK7 (dark gti) is one hell of a car. crazy to think this was just low boost setting. This is also a Manual (is38) vs Dsg (rx550) race

I was going to say, that was moving too slow to be 490 - 500 whp. I've raced other GTI's that had tuned IS38's and I've destroyed them. They looked like they were standing still as I took off.
to be fair though the rx turbo car was not brake boosting, and is38 does have a slightly faster spool time

Also that RX should have left the IS38 car sitting there.

Brake boosting or not, it still should have pulled away a lot faster than it did. I never brake boost, since I drive a manual, and, like I said before, have destroyed tuned IS38 GTI's. Are you sure that car is putting down what it claims?
