Haven’t gotten a lot of time on the new tune, so time will tell. For an OTS tune with a warranty out to 72k, loved the APR Plus.

The 93 High Torque seems more linear, but actually doesn’t feel as quick as a result (if that makes any sense). It’s definitely quicker, just doesn’t quite feel that way…if I wasn’t already in the APR eco-system, I’d probably consider a pro-tune…for the labor cost of the flash I can’t complain though.

Thanks - yeah had the Plus tune on the gti for 6 years now (ecu and tcu), always been very happy with it for the oem plus feel. Often wondered how much extra a full stage 1 would offer. Daughter got the car with her in college now though, so no need to upgrade! 😁

After getting to drive the new tune quite a bit more, I definitely now enjoy it more than Plus. While the more linear feel took getting used to, it’s noticeably quicker at highway speeds in particular. No drivability issues so far and boost seems to stay at/below ~26lbs max (per the digital readout; so guessing it’s ~22-23lbs when you remove atmospheric pressure). Gas mileage hasn’t changed noticeably either.
