The module is not component protected. The coding to get the memory working was weird. The memory button can be coded for VW, or AUDI. Without having my scan handy i believe the memory button was coded AUDI. Didnt work any other way. I will try and remember to post my long coding if i can find it.
So I updated some coding to reflect the below changes, so long coding bytes will be different to above as they now read:
00 14 01 02 00 00 05 00 01 42 81 81 80 80 00 00 00 00 81 81 00 00 00 F4 00
If you've moved from manual seats to electric /electric memory seats adjustments need to be made in:
42.Driver's Door
36. Driver's Seat
19.Gateway
CarFunctionListBAP Gen2
Driver Seat enabled and ensure the CAN msg is correct -> Guessed the comfort CAN?
Seatmemory driver rear 0x3e and ensure the CAN msg is correct -> Guessed the comfort CAN? Also don't know how you can have a memory seat for a driver in the rear?
9. Central Electrics - TBC
Still getting a few issues as lumbar motor won't work but all the others do. Tried two different lumbar switches and both didn't work, however both lumbar motors move in basic settings.
There seems to be only one culprit left; the seat control module. I have a 7.5 golf and the unit I have 2nd hand is 5Q0959760B which was made right until the end of the mk7's lifetime. Erwin shows the minimum part revision as C up to current F. Can revisions be night and day in functionality differences?

I also have a SVM issue that after every attempt of putting my newly calculated xor 4 digits in the confirmation screen it just hangs and hangs in writing! Never actually fails or completes. I've heard it's meant to fail and then you clear it but we're not even getting to that point.
