VCDS - Enable Display of Gear while in D & S

With the help of VCDS, I was able to make the current gear show up while in D & S modes on my MK7 NAR Golf wagon!

I checked my car, and the GTI DSG only has 2 Bytes ("0014") in the long code compared to what the OP has, so their code isn't applicable to us.

For those who have OBDII, go to module 02, select Long Coding, Select Byte 1. You should see Bit 1 selected. Uncheck Bit 1 and select Bit 0. The code string should now match to the OP. Double check that before accepting the coding.

On scanning, that's what my 2016 R reports too. I'll need to see what long coding shows.
