Friends version, cut the OEM tube, then insert 3/4" clear tube with stainless steel wool pad you get at dollar stores for pot scrubbing lightly spread along inside, Oil vapour normally going 10 cm (4") into the intake from valve cover gets 2 meters (6 Ft) to condense out vs gum up an intake. the oil drips down and there is a T where there is a 30 CM (12In) section for the gunk to reside. Its lightly packed to allow for water that fill freeze and could plug up, so there is no clamp at the valve cover, and pressure building if there was a freeze caused issue, the hose willl just pop off . If you were in warmer climate you could pack it tighter.

That’s a good idea. The virtues of a catch can on this car are debatable but spending $400-600 for a catch can is silly. To me, in my opinion, They seem to be more of a bling item analogous to a carbon intake pipe.
