AH ok I was really scratching like some kind of cost-containment acronym or something. And - figures - save a few bucks/Euros on a $30k+ car. Brilliant. Of course apparently the Mk 8 is a downgrade both in terms of plasticky from reviews etc at least, and dumb stuff like 8 million options for drive modes instead of some simple ones that simply work....

Good grief nothing better happen to this car...knock on my hard wooden head....

Might not have the light ring on the cigarette lighter, felt lined & cooled glovebox, underseat drawer, among other things

Not sure when in 2017 they stopped including some of that, but some 17's have them and some don't.

My 2017 has the drawer and flocked and cooled glovebox. VIN ends in 001252. No light around cig lighter but that’s very minor.
