Are those Photoshopped? If so, nice work. I'm a big fan of bronze, but I think gunmetal complements the white better.

Real life.

Tire Rack had 2 bronze left for a great price on clearance. I bought 2 gunmetal to make a set. Right now each side of the car is a different color, perfect for a getaway car!

I figure I can always paint two easily. I like both so I’ll just keep them the way they are. Every time I rotate the tires I will see my car differently when I enter.

Surprised you don't have spacers. Looks like it has a really wide stance. Low and wide. Very nice

I am pretty much sold on a set of V710 in 18x8.5”. I have a few questions though...

My GTI is Dark Iron Blue, and I would like to see what it would look like with both hyper silver and gunmetal wheels.

Is there any way to use OEM center caps? I don’t remember seeing anyone use them.

Also, can I get away with using the stock tire on these wheels til they need to be replaced (probably with 235/40s)?

Finally, where can I find the best deal? Have any of you had any experience with discountedwheelwarehouse.com?

Thanks ahead of time for any help and suggestions. I just got the car and am loving it.

• I went with Hyper Silver. No Regrets. Would definitely look great on Dark iron.

• I don't think so. I tried and its a different size than OEM. Maybe somebody makes an aftermarket... IDK

• 225/40 is going to looked stretched on a 8.5 wheel. If you like that look, it will fit. 235 or 245 is a better width for a 8.5 wheel.

• I bought my VMR 710's from there with tires mounted and balance. Great price but no communication. So make sure you have your order right when you place it. This company doesn't answer their phone or respond to emails.
