So I have found a few universal shift knobs that basically look like it adapts the smooth to a threaded end so you can use whatever. I have a dsg and I wanted to know is it just that simple? What does the trigger go to?
Trigger pulls the shift interlock mechanism that allows you to go from PRNDS. That's why the BFI knobs require you to pull up when shifting and the old TIP mod adapters did the same thing.
so i have noticed but, at least its a good idea on how it works. With the adapter I get a fragile vibe since its not fully attached to the main shaft (giggity.)
