UK Only - recommend me a dash cam

Looking for help from our UK members - please give recommendations for a good dash-cam for use in my new Golf Estate.

I have two Roadhawks, HD in front and an earlier one at the rear. No problems and the quality is fit for purpose. Support solved a problem when Google Maps got upgraded very quickly. I've no experience of other cameras.

Anyone have any experience of Garmin dash cams - I've always used Garmin satnavs (I'm on my fourth) and have a lot of brand loyalty.

Why? The only loyalty I have is to my family, large organisations like Garmin have absolutely no loyalty to you, will they give you a discount for being an advocate of their brand? No I didn't think so, forget brand loyalty and buy the best you can afford, with an open mind.

Choose one without wifi as I have heard this interferes with the DAB reception.

I have a roadhawk hd at the moment and it's ok but the quality of the recording isn't great, I'm thinking of getting a new camera but I don't know what yet.

Whatever it is it will be hard wired, I hate having trailing wires showing.

Not likely to be an issue as I hardly ever use the radio - perhaps 2-3 times in the 20 months I had my first Golf Mk7.

Which is exactly what the original poster asked for and what a forum is for!!!!

Two of my colleagues have Transcend 220s and they are excellent. Neither have DAB radios though so I can't comment on wifi interference to DAB. I'm pretty certain the wifi wouldn't be operating during recording though.

Some do have start - stop features so they might not suit you DW ;-)
