Is it OK to use Turtle Wax ceramic on my brake calipers? Or, would high temps cause issues? Would there be an advantage (easier dust cleanup?) or is the ceramic mainly for the hydrophobic qualities?
I just did my pads/rotors this spring, and I'm wondering if the (Meguiar's Ultimate) wheel cleaner and wheel brush might wash out the caliper lube? I live in NE Ohio, where they have salt on the roads in the winter, so I want to make sure the grease is on the caliper/pad interface to keep down the rust. Reducing how often I clean the calipers might help. Of course, there is rain, car washes, etc...
