Turbo Turbine overspeed fault.

I know theres a few guys who got this code and it happened to me while we were busy developing a custom file for my car. I would like to know if the turbo have a physical speed sensor on it or does the ecu use the boost sensor to triger this fualt??

I don't know but this is more prone to tripping in hot weather.

Hotter air = less dense etc etc. I do want to say its boost controlled though.

Its different to the overboost fault caused by the throttle shutting.

There is no speed sensor, you need to decrease the ramp request of the boost at the point the fault is triggered. It usually happens when the waist gate is fully open but the boost is still climbing.
