I’m not quite sure the month considering I don’t have the car at the moment but the last 6 digits of the VIN are 008895 so I’m guessing it’s an earlier model?

No one here has mentioned the obvious. Any slight misalignment of the outlet pipe can create a small boost leak which would send shaft speed through the roof. That is the most likely culprit to be honest.

make sure you get them to replace your intercooler also if the blown turbo spewed oil through the motor
