TTE Race Turbo for APR Stage 2. Anyone ??

Anyone used this turbo with their stage 1 / 2 GOLF R?

It says it will support APR Stage 2 which is very good news as I don’t need any power but want a reliable unit for track. My car has covered 48k from new on APR stage 1 and 2 and hasn’t missed a beat.

Feed back would be appreciated

IS38s don't blow up unless you overspin them. APR stage 2 won't come close to overspinning. Waste of money if you ask me.

I agree APR run it with headroom for a bit more bhp and as said I’ve been happy it’s been such a reliable package on track. Only concern was with wear over time and the impellers catching the housing if it goes out of balance.

Other options I’ve been looking at is Stage 3 Racingline. It’s well priced and their demo car here in the UK has now covered over 60k umpteen trackdays. Plenty of R&D on the software.

TTV5 using Ecotune software an option but far more costly for 20th p more than the Racingline Stage 3 kit.

Anyone using Racingline stage 3 ??

What's the advantage of having that shipped over to the UK versus getting the Turbo Engineers IS38 upgrade from a UK shop?
