I guess I’ll post some updates.
Installed GPOP is20 with is38 compressor wheel during Hurricane Ian. Installed ARM fmic a week later. Did a GTI HPFP and today a reflect tuning ecu and dsg tune. I’m running stock downpipe and did the normal stock airbox mods. There’s a bit more left on the table for tuning and driving. Trying to hit 12.00 with stock downpipe. Currently on 205/55/16 Ironman AS tires.

So, forgive my ignorance here, what's the benefit of this vs an IS38, quicker spool? That's not a bad cost at allThere really isn’t any mainstream offering. It’s started life as an is20 turbo that they machined the compressor housing to fit an is38 wheel. They ported and polished both housings and balanced the wheel. I also had them coat the housings. Total cost was around $800 plus the turbo.
That’s the hope: is20 spool witb is38 top end. Not sure if that’s the reality or the worst of both (is38 spool / is20 top end)So, forgive my ignorance here, what's the benefit of this vs an IS38, quicker spool? That's not a bad cost at all
