My buddy in his E85 M240i blew 2 engines stock turbo. The best time that I saw from him was an 8.3 60-130 and trapping around 126 before the engine failure. He's good friends with me and knows I run around 7.6 considering I'm Vortex XL and E85. We've talked about running these cars now for 6 months considering all of his engine issues. He got the first engine somehow under warranty and they wouldn't cover the 2nd, so he had it fully built and added a DAW hybrid turbo. On 93 octane and 22lbs of boost, he did a 7.96 60-130 and says on full E85, he'll be around 30-32psi and is expecting over 700whp. He's still finishing his E85 tune, but I can't wait to go for a ride with him.
Do you have any idea of the power difference between a Pure800 and a DAW turbo and what they can put down?
