The car looks great! When I see a great looking red car with a deep shine I cant help but think.....'next one?'

Notice the reg plate indicates an Aberdeen origin. Did you travel to Aberdeen for the car? If so you probably got it from the same dealer I used.

If it's coated with Lifeshine, can you not simply leave car outside in a down pour to self clean by hardwater free rain???

Only jocking...

My car has same finish. Time will tell how it performs.

Looks good (although I am biased)

Something I hadn't appreciated, until now, was that only the Nav equipped cars have the sharkfin on the roof.

I had the sat nav in my last MK7 GT TDi 150....cant say I was too impressed with it, I got on much better with CoPilot on my phone....but thats just my opinion [emoji6] [emoji594]

I would still apply a sealant onto the paint even after Lifeshine is applied to be sure [emoji274]

Looks good - nothing wrong with CoPilot - that's what I use to as sat nav.

Exactly! That was the only trade off from the GT to the GTi was lack of Sat-Nav but I do prefer CoPilot anyway.
Pity I can't mirror my HTC onto the golfs screen.

Ah, same dealer chain, different location. It's also amazing how often you learn something new on this forum. I wondered why some Golfs had the shark fin on the roof. Now I know.

I had been almost set on buying an A3, and they all have shark fins because they come from the factory with nav prep installed. If you haven't optioned nav when ordering or bought secondhand then you can get the SD nav installed later.

I assumed the shark fin was used for both GPS & radio reception, but maybe not!
