Tomioka IHX600 VS. EQT Vortex

I am very curious to find R/S3 owners with IHX600. My friend has bought a car wit that turbo.

What dyno numbers you can get? When does it reach it spool?

Depends on fueling and gear.

Car is Golf R and has bifuel system installed.

We are still trying to understand if it is really IHX600 or IHX475. Compressor looks like from IHX600, however product code is as from IHX475.

A IHX475 spools at 3300 on my GTI in 4th gear. R gearing makes that more like 5th gear. If it's spooling closer to 4k in 5th gear it's an IHX600. That looks pretty much like my 475 does.



I don't know if the compressor was modified at all between the 2 turbos.

According to the Tomioka website both the 475 and 600 have the same wheel specs. Only difference I see is the exhaust housing is bigger on the 600.
