To sell or not to sell

Hi all, this is my first post on here - I have a MK7 1.2 TSI Golf (UK 65 reg plate). I’m going for a Masters in London and imagine I won’t be using it for the next year - it has <41k miles on it and I’m debating whether to cash in on it now. Was hoping someone with more knowledge of the used Golf market could advise on whether it could be worth more next year (chip shortage and all that fun) and I would be shooting myself in the foot were I to dive into the used car market for something similar next year (after masters if I end up relocating for a job and needing a car again).

Welcome to the forum. As you know used car prices are sky high right now and when the chip shortage ends the prices will fall. It's a bet on your part as to how long the chip shortage lasts.
