Tire Shine causing serious loss of traction....

So, wifey got our cars detailed (how nice of her) right?

So today I jump in my car (GTI w/PP) and attack my favorite turns on the way to work and Holly shit....losing traction all over the place. Come to find out, the shop that did the detailing put silicone based tire shine on all surfaces of the tires (MPSP)!!!!

How the hell do i get this crap off? Do I use a degreaser? Brush?

Most should wear off in normal driving.
Some may soak in rubber.
Hard to wash silicone.
Try green magic or any cleaner for rubber. Try to keep off the wheels.

That doesn't make any sense. Check tire pressure. It would burn off right away.

Terrible detail shop is terrible

Use spray 409 degreaser to take it off. Works well at cleaning the tires without drying them out. It's how us motoriders clean tires instead of tire shine
