Curious as to how you made that?

Its a fake stereographic projection. Just take a 360˚ pano, and in photoshop make the height the same as the width, rotate it 180˚, and then filter > distort > polar coordinates.

hey I have you guys, do you use a tripod and just rotate the camera on it w/ each picture, or just free hand it or what? Cuz i've been using a tripod but sometimes it gives me off angle skylines and stuff like that when compiled in a pano

Get a better tripod. I have a Manfrotto 190XProb with a bubble level on it, I make sure that the feet are perfectly level first and then there is a bubble leve on my tripod head, which I then make sure is perfectly level. Then I mount the camera with a bubble level in the hotshoe to make sure that it's completely level. And I just test it by panning the camera. If the bubbles move I just start over at making sure everything is level.
