Help!
So I got a filter cover to cover the cabin air intake under the rain tray (mk7.5, 2019 GTI), and got a surprise when I removed the rain tray.
There's a little 2-wire sensor (temperature?) just wedged in, wrapped in foam. Cord's not long enough to secure to inlet position.

Is this another temperature sensor?
I thought that was in the front bumper. Dealers' blown me off twice, no explanation or anything.
Did they just not have a sensor with longer wire available during build?
I want to just make a pigtail extension eventually, but really want to know what this sensor is.
It's too cold outside to take the tray off again and see if I can find a part #, (wasn't thinking).

Nope,
Just the Rabbit package, slightly below the SE.
My last GTI I threw half the suspension away, DCC seems to work well, but no loss to me at this time.

This is a 2 wire temp sensor, what kind of chassis sensor would DCC use?
