For real, excited to see this car come to be.

I was very close to buying a Reflex Silver 4 door SE at my local dealer. They have 3 mk7 coming next week But then I realized it did not have the lighting package.

The MK7 purchase will not be a replacement to my MK6 however, as I once thought.


I am too deep into the MK6 now to trade or part it soon.

The MK7 would be a replacement of my JSW TDI.

I had hoped VW would bring the MK7 GTD here, but that does not look promising in the timeframe I need to replace the JSW.

A 4 door GTI could meet the bill though. Might still get a TDI MK7 Golf though.

Finally ordered instead of waiting for one to show up in inventory

Red 4 Door DSG S with cloth seats. Plus lighting package.

After seeing a cloth car in person, I had to have one. Wanted a few things in Autobahn, but not enough to give up cloth.

6-8 weeks they say.

Will be my new daily though. Will not be customized much. Will learn from it and eventually buy an MK7 R and sell my CW MK6 GTI. Thats about 12 months away though.
