I am looking to upgrade from MIB1 to MIB2.5 and see than the dynaudio subwoofer needs to be changed. What subwoofer works as it is quite a large sum ontop of everything else to get a new subwoofer too. I have seen a canbus upgrade for less than a third of the price of the subwoofer but has anyone done that? Thanks in advance.

Hi, a car stereo place is a good place to upgrade subwoofer with a small amp. I went to Cartyoys n installed a small 250w digital amp under the trunk deck, n even had a bass dial put in a compartment under the steering column. The sub I bought was a small 8 “ JL audio pre built box. To me it’s better than some OE type setup and now that it’s installed I can upgrade amp or speaker myself.
