Those are black plastic caps the slide over/on top of them. A hook pick or other tool can usual pull them out easy. There should also be a tool in your jack bag.

The plastic caps don't unscrew with a torques bit like it may seem. You just stick the small tool, that HalfGerman is showing above, into the hole and pop the caps straight off. They are hugging the lug bolts underneath.
The tool can be found in your tire rescue kit which incudes some tire sealant, and a small compressor to fill the tires. My wheel lock was also in this bag when I bought the car.

Does anybody still run those caps? First wheel changeover they went byebye for me.
In the rust belt people do, otherwise my wife's lugs would be completely rusted instead of only partially LOL

I swapped to black ones and put boeshield t9 on the heads. Those caps just keep the brine in!
