I totally understand that!!

I haven’t installed them yet, they’re in the garage waiting for a couple available days to drop the subframe and do everything all at once.

There are a quite a few of Mk8 R’s that have run them, and they all stated that they were in the 1/2-5/8” range. Here are a couple pics I pulled from the Mk8 FB group. I just ordered them from BMP for $270 IIRC.

Is it just me, or does the left front on the white car look much lower than the right front?

After settling, that front is minimum 1 in drop. I'd guess more like 1.3 In

I think the Golf R sits a hair (maybe 5mm) lower than the GTI.

I don’t have calibrated eyes, but I think you’re high on your estimates. I’ll take good measurements, before and after.

I'm interested to see what the 034 LCA's with stock ball joints gets you camber wise. If you get -2, I'm totally going that route.

I'm wondering if the new RS3 arms would work and if they're longer???

I honestly don't want to mess with strut tops again. I had issues even with the Eurosport Camber Kit. Bolts came loose and right side would occasionally make noise.
I run 034 LCA and stock ball joints I got -2 but there was some self clearancing when I spoke to 034 about it they recommended their ball joints but said that it was fine since the self clearancing had already been done.

Some fun from this past weekend the GLI got first in STH and 14th in pax though I will admit a decent amount of our hotshoes were at other events.

RS3 LCA's will have an extra 10mm of poke IIRC from a previous post in this thread.

It will probably have more like -1.8°……possibly a hair more. The dynamic camber from the increased caster is also a nice benefit.

I’ll make sure to post up my thoughts since I installed them the same time as my coilovers on my last car, so I couldn’t honestly say how much improvement came from which component.
RS3 LCAs do not change geometry. Just stiffer bushings. The aluminum TT/TTS/TTRS arms are what you're thinking of.

Stock height? Where was it rubbing?

springs so no and the ball joint and the control arm its not overly clear to me how it was happening but like I said I spoke with them and sent pictures and everything it seemed I was not the first. Also note I am a mk7 GLI so not apples to apples comparison

Does anyone have tips for running down a couple of WRXs. I finished 28/123 and 16/87 in PAX but 3 and 2(one wrx didn't show) in STH. Assume I just need to keep working on driver mod but ugh

I'm not very fast, but not slow either. Out of 200+ entries, worked my way up to being 25th or so pax.

The local WRX was consistently 1.1 - 2s faster
