You're a genius! It works! Somehow I lost my GTI red theme and it's the blue theme/regular VW start-up screen. I must have done that I don't think it's part of the coding you had me enter. Any idea how I'd change that back?

And yes I have a .csv of my adaptation map for 5F if you PM me your e-mail.
Thanks again!

Try 02730000FF00000051220001001808009F0203C40120010002 and then hard-reset the infotainment system. that should fix the theme

Okay, for the simple minded, what are the steps to take to fix the errors switching from the MIB II 6.5" screen to the new glass 8" screen using OBD eleven?

If it is the Check Software Version Management error, open the Information electronics module in OBD11 and go to Adaptations. Find the channel named "Confirmation of Installation change:" and take the value it gives you and post it here.

I don't think that error showed up, I have three areas with 22 errors.
1 error in Information Control Unit fault code B201A00
19 errors in Gateway I think has something to do with ambient temps

I'm not good with android and OBDeleven

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut...
So... 95d7

No worries:D

change 95d7 to 5c05 and the fault code should clear.

dont worry if it changes back to 95d7, the code should go away.

I think it worked! When I typed it in it changed back after it was entered but when I scanned I only have 21 errors now.

I will be installing an 8" screen soon (when my trim arrives, allegedly this week). But I also have the code Kevinlan86 had, although with Byte 5 showing an error as well. Any clue as to what causes this?

My car is a '15 TDI S with MIB II retrofit (with nav) and retrofitted reverse camera. Everything works (as far as I can tell) but I have this fault...

Hey guys! I've been following this thread and others after installing the 8" screen and I'm completely stumped at trying to clear the fault code.

My current code that shows is C5CA (or c5ca). If I add c9d2 into the calculators online I get c18, which should have a "0" added to the beginning to make it 0c18. However, when I try adding this code in obdeleven it fails (upper or lowercase, doesn't matter). I know my obdeleven works just fine since I've been coding all sorts of things with it successfully (most recently all the power folding mirror mods and mirror roll down with the key).

Is there some other way of calculating the new code? I've tried other examples myself (taking the first code with "c9d2" and getting the correct code that worked for someone else in the forums) so I believe I'm doing the calculations correctly.

Thanks in advance!
